ULTRA KAIJU

GIVAS

Givas

A type of machinery descending from outer space that runs autonomously on some type of program.

As Oka-Gubila and Ultraman Arc are fighting on ground, a deafening roar erupts as it appears from the sky. This is named "Givas" after a recurring phrase from the mysterious melody it plays. When Givas's upper body rotates 180 degrees, it enters Grapple Mode, where the large grapple mounted on its back swings forward to its chest and is fired. After restraining its target with this grapple, Givas swings them around and slams them into the ground, winding up the wire to deliver additional attacks.

When its head lights up red, the Shovel Claw on its left arm can emit beams that mimic the moves of its opponent. During its battle with Oka-Gubila, the left arm transforms into a beam drill. It also imitated the Arc Exa Slash with its left hand as well. Additionally, its head is equipped with a beam to scan its surroundings.
It was believed that the melody coming from Givas contained some kind of message, and attempts were made to translate it. However, deciphering the phrase “Givas” is difficult. The initial translation reveals the word "enemy." Thus the message is interpreted as: "Does this planet have my enemy? I am here to be your enemy."

Meanwhile, the GDF judges Givas as a threat and decides to attack, fearing that the beams from its head could be harmful. However, Yuma, who witnesses Givas saving a girl about to be attacked by Oka-Gubila, senses some kind of will within Givas and raises objections to the attack. He argued that if there was a will, dialogue could be possible.

It is later revealed through information brought to SKIP by Numata (human form of Alien Croco), that Givas was built on Planet Meguma. Further information indicated that the base of Givas's neck, where communication circuits gather, was in fact a cockpit. This suggested the possibility that a living organism might reside inside. Yuma scales the cliff-like body of Givas, aiming for the cockpit near its neck.
