The second half of the show opens up with a shocking turn of events, as Yuma and Ultraman Arc meet “Sweed,” a mysterious character holding the story’s secrets!

Ultraman Arc, which has been airing on TV Tokyo Network and broadcasted and/or streamed worldwide (including the original Japanese version with multilingual subtitles on the ULTRAMAN Official YouTube channel, as well as an English dubbed version on the ULTRAMAN Official English YouTube Channel) since July 6, 2024, has aimed to be an inspiration to children about “the power to dream” and a bridge towards a bright, hopeful future. The tokusatsu drama presents the values of the Ultraman series to the world by depicting a delightful, warm-hearted and brave hero. A being of light hailing from a faraway galaxy unites with Yuma, the protagonist who owns tremendous “power of imagination,” and they form the giant new Ultra Hero: Ultraman Arc. The story is about Arc protecting the future of the Earth and mankind from looming threats.

New Character: The Mysterious “Sweed”

She’s an alien who targets Yuma and threatens Hoshimoto City with Zadime, the galactic beast. She takes the form of a chillingly beautiful woman and is able to manipulate others through telekinesis, freeze them in place, and even peer into their minds.

Sweed calls Rution, or Ultraman Arc as we know him, a “traitor.” After realizing that Rution is fused with Yuma, she creates a plan to bring him out. But what is the grand scheme lurking behind her true intentions?

Cast: Eriko Sato

Sweed, the mysterious new character with a chilling beauty who views Ultraman Arc as an enemy, is played by the multi-talented Eriko Sato.

Born in Tokyo, on December 19, 1981 (age 42), she is affiliated with LADY BIRD.

After experiencing the Great Hanshin Earthquake as a middle school student, she was inspired to pursue a career in entertainment after the radio shows that gave her strength during that time. During high school, she launched her career after winning the title of the TV station poster girl. With her beauty and striking figure, she quickly rose to prominence as a model, catapulting into stardom. Soon after, she made her acting debut. Today, she continues to shine, showcasing her multi-talented abilities across TV, film, radio, theater, and commercials.

My son was very much into Ultraman Z, and we went to various events together. At the time, because of the pandemic, everyone including the little kids was wearing masks. One day, the MC said, “Place your hands on your chest, and direct your encouragement towards Ultraman and silently cheer him on!” The children’s eyes sparkled so brightly, it was as if they had captured the stars from the “Ultra galaxy” within them as they cheered in support.

At that moment, I too raised my hand and silently wished to work with Ultraman someday. And now, with Ultraman Arc, my dream of collaborating with Ultraman has come true. As I stepped onto the set, I was filled with gratitude and couldn’t help but think that Ultraman made my dream come true.

New visuals for October episodes revealed!

Additionally, new visuals from the four episodes scheduled to air in October have also been revealed! In episode 14, Flash of the Past, Arc reveals the shocking truth from 16 years ago to Yuma. In the following episode, 15 The Wandering Future, the highly anticipated Galaxy Armor finally makes its appearance. 

As the story heads towards its climax, witness the unveiling of the truth behind Hoshimoto City’s past and the world’s crisis, as well as Ultraman Arc’s new and stronger form!

Episode 13: Shu’s Report (Oct 5 JST)

After working and solving so many cases together, Shu seems to have really become a part of SKIP. But wait… He’s been writing a report to the GDF late at night!?

While revisiting the memories of previous incidents, one by one the SKIP members join him in a discussion about Ultraman Arc.

Episode 14: Flash of the Past (Oct 12 JST)

Once again something strange is detected while monitoring the Monohorn!

As Yuma and Shu head down to investigate, they hear mysterious words and then followed by a sudden attack!?

Creeping in the shadow is a mysterious pursuer from space…

Then, Arc appears in front of Yuma and tells him the truth of 16 years ago.

The danger Earth is facing will soon become clear…!

Episode 15: The Wandering Future (Oct 19 JST)

Alongside a thundering sound, the ground parts and a seal appears…

Coming face-to-face with the possible destruction of not just Hoshimoto City, but the Earth itself, Shu explains to the group about the harsh reality.

The enemy’s scheme leaves Yuma hopeless and unable to transform into Ultraman Arc. Yet, believing in Arc’s words, he further unleashes his imagination!

Special Recap Episode 2: At SKIP Miyako City Branch (Oct 26 JST)

After leaving the Fujiyama City branch and being transferred to branches all over, Mr. Nakamura finally settles at the Miyako branch in Kansai. 

Wait, the AI robot he meets there is a huge fan of Ultraman Arc!?

And as the odd duo starts to reflect about previous incidents, they also unleash their power of delusion!?
