The Nonmalt were the masters of the Octopus Monster Guyros and were the indigenous race living on the Earth until the ancestors of modern humanity invaded from another planet and forced them to relocate underwater.

For centuries they left humanity alone until they stole the British Nuclear Submarine Gloria and piloted Gloria and Guyros above-land to begin an all-out attack on the surface. It is theorized that humanity’s sudden increase in underwater development activities panicked the Nonmalt, making them worry that their homes and safety would once again be taken from them, but after their attack plans failed their city was ultimately destroyed by the Ultra Guard.
