An astonishing new teaser trailer and posters have been revealed for SHIN ULTRAMAN, a film celebrating the 55^th anniversary of the Ultraman series that is planned to open in the early summer of 2021. Additionally, a new official Twitter has been launched for all the latest updates on SHIN ULTRAMAN!

With this special teaser trailer, take a peek behind the curtain at the world of the latest Ultraman film! The tension when humanity faces giant creatures that appear on Earth and the struggle of how to deal with them can be seen from our characters’ facial expressions and reactions. Don’t miss the slowly rising Ultraman at the end of video!

Two special posters for the film are being unveiled at once. The first poster features a lineup of three mysterious items, centered on the enigmatic words, “Have you become so fond of humans, Ultraman?”

In the second visual, we see a close-up of the cast’s eyes as they fix their gazes on something out of frame. What could possibly be the target of such intense stares?

An official Twitter for the film, @shin_ultraman, has been launched. The new project titled with “Shin,” a word that has multiple meanings, finally begins!

The film is produced and written by Hideaki Anno, who has described himself as an Ultraman fan. Additionally, the film is directed by Shinji Higuchi, who has brought a number of masterpieces into the world together with Mr. Anno, including Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The combination of the two won their highest honors with Shin Godzilla (2016), a film that swept awards in seven major categories at the 40^th Japan Academy Film Prize, including Picture of the Year and Director of the Year. We’re looking forward to their latest long-awaited fantasy tokusatsu production!
