The new series Ultraman Teo will begin on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM JST, on the TV Tokyo Network’s six channels, with simultaneous worldwide broadcast and distribution in multiple languages.  

With only one week remaining until the premiere, we are pleased to announce the start of daily Countdown Messages on our official YouTube channel alongside the full reveal of the screenwriters and directors participating in this production.

■ Countdown Messages Announced

Beginning today and continuing through the day before the premiere, a new Countdown Message video will be released daily at 9:00 a.m. JST on the Ultraman Official YouTube Channel. Members of the main cast and directing team will take turns sharing what viewers can look forward to in the series.

Launching the countdown with the “7 Days to Go” message are Lead Director Takashi Ninomiya and Main Tokusatsu Director Takanori Tsujimoto. The two directors kick things off with a humorous message.

■ Full Lineup of Screenwriters and Directors Revealed

We are pleased to announce the complete lineup of screenwriters and directors participating in Ultraman Teo.

Working alongside Lead Director Takashi Ninomiya and Main Tokusatsu Director Takanori Tsujimoto, the following directors brought the story to the screen. With Shigenori Tanabe overseeing series composition—and also serving as lead writer and theme-song lyricist—the following screenwriters wrote the individual episodes.

Ultraman Teo Series Outline

The commemorative work for the Ultraman Series’ 60th anniversary follows a lonely alien who arrives on Earth after losing his home planet and takes the form of university student Ibuki Mitsuishi (played by Aoi Iwasaki). As he encounters life on Earth and faces the threat of kaiju, he must overcome his reluctance to fight to protect those before him. Transforming into a blue giant, he fights alongside new companions and grows into a true Ultraman—at the heart of a tokusatsu coming-of-age ensemble drama.
