Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya, Tokyo. President and CEO: Takayuki Tsukagoshi) is providing the latest information on characters and theme song for ULTRAMAN R/B the Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond, premiering on March 8^th (Fri) 2019.

ULTRAMAN R/B (Ruebe) is the first ever Ultraman series to feature two brothers “Katsumi Minato” (played by: Yuya Hirata) and “Isami Minato” (played by: Ryosuke Koike) who transform into Ultraman.

In the movie, “Asahi Minato” (played by: Arisa Sonohara), the younger sister of the Minato Brothers, will transform into a female hero “Ultrawoman Grigio”. With the mysterious power of the Makoto Crystal, which is filled with the hearts of the Minato Brothers, Ultraman Rosso, Ultraman Blu and Ultrawoman Grigio merge and transform into the ultimate battle form “Ultraman Gruebe”.

We will now unveil the movie trailer and the main visual of the new Ultraman.

In addition to the announcement of the theme song sung by Takeshi Tsuruno, singer DAIGO will also be joining. With DAIGO joining, this movie is filled with the former Ultra Heroes.

Also, we will be announcing the information on the story of this movies, and on Yuma Uchida, the voice actor who will play the new and mysterious character “Ultraman Tregear”.

■Ultraman Gruebe

With the mysterious power of the Makoto Crystal, which is filled with the hearts of the Minato Brothers, Ultraman Rosso, Ultraman Blu and Ultrawoman Grigio merge and transform into the ultimate battle form.

■Ultrawoman Grigio

Asahi Minato, the younger sister of the Minato Brothers, transforms into this Ultrawoman. She is not well trained in fighting yet but backs up her allies with her defense power and special ability to quickly heal others.

■Ultraman Tregear (Voice: Yuma Uchida)

A mysterious warrior who has the same strong fighting skills as Ultraman Groob and Ultraman Geed Ultimate Final.

■Yuma Uchida

Born on September 21^st, 1992. From Tokyo, Japan.

[Announcement 3: DAIGO will be joining the theme song along with Takeshi Tsuruno!]

Along with the already announced Takeshi Tsuruno for the theme song, singer DAIGO will also be joining.

Takeshi Tsuruno has played Shin Asuka who transforms into Ultraman Dyna in the TV series ULTRAMAN DYNA which aired in 1997. DAIGO has played Nozomu Taiga, the human host for Ultraman Zero in the movie ULTRAMAN SAGA which showed in 2012. Along with the two, Riku Asakura (played by Tatsuomi Hamada), the hero in the previous series will be joining in the movie, putting together many of the former heroes.

The Minato family has been living peacefully in Ayaka-shi, without any monsters appearing for a year. Isami and Asahi have found their dreams and are striving to reach it, but as for Katsumi, he is still wondering what he wants to do in the future. Katsumi decides to meet his friend Toi, who is striving to become a game creator. However, he had quit his gaming company and was living in his house withdrawing from social life. Katsumi was shocked to see what happened to Toi. An evil voice had approached Toi’s isolated heart; the voice called himself Tregear. Tregear had also approached Katsumi’s heart and flew him off into outer space far from the earth where monsters live.

Meanwhile in the earth, monster Snake Darkness had appeared, and Isami transformed into Ultraman Blu, fighting along with Riku Asakura=Ultraman Geed, who had come from a different world. Will Katsumi be able to come back to his family? What are the evil Tregear’s purpose and true self? The power of the bond will work miracles…!
