The “Ultra Heroes EXPO 2025 Summer Festival in Ikebukuro Sunshine City” is officially happening from July 19th (Saturday) to August 25th (Monday), 2025, at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo. In exciting news for fans close to Western Japan, the “Ultra Heroes EXPO 2025 Umeda Summer Festival” will simultaneously take place from August 8th (Friday) to August 24th (Sunday) at Umeda South Hall in Osaka.

These annual summer events promise thrilling live stages and extensive exhibitions featuring your favorite Ultra Heroes, and this year, they’re leveling up with the highly anticipated appearance of Ultraman Omega and the main cast from the upcoming TV series Ultraman Omega, which premieres on July 5th (Saturday) at 9:00 AM JST across six TV Tokyo affiliates and globally.

” Ultra Heroes EXPO 2025 Summer Festival ” is a must-attend summer event where you can immerse yourself in the world of Ultra Heroes with powerful live stages and large-scale exhibits. Ultraman Omega and key cast members from the latest TV series Ultraman Omega will make special appearances. Also joining the heroic lineup are the Ultra Heroes from the currently airing Ultraman New Generation Stars, along with Ultraman Zero, celebrating his 15th anniversary, and his apprentice, Ultraman Z. They’ll all converge on the live stages and exhibition areas.

This year, for an even more immersive experience, official cheering merchandise will be available for purchase at the venue entrances. Get ready to cheer on your heroes with your voice and original cheering items during the live stages! The festival also offers chances to meet and greet Ultra Heroes, capture memorable photos, and explore realistic diorama displays. With something for every generation, this event is designed for universal appeal.

Tokyo Venue Highlights

Exhibition Area: Immerse Yourself in the Worlds of Ultraman Omega, New Generation Heroes, and Kaiju!

The exhibition area will feature dynamic dioramas recreating intense battle scenes from the latest series, Ultraman Omega, offering an early glimpse into its world. Plus, explore exhibits dedicated to the New Generation Ultra Heroes, from Ultraman Zero (celebrating his 15 years!) to Ultraman Arc, showcasing their bonds of mutual support. Numerous photo spots with adorable kaiju will also be available for fun photo opportunities.

Live Stage: Daily Appearances by Ultraman Omega and New Generation Heroes! Special Guest Appearances by the Protagonist!

Prepare for a thrilling live stage show featuring the Ultra Heroes in action. The story will change between the first and second half of the event period. Sorato Okida (played by Shori Kondo), the protagonist of Ultraman Omega, will also make special guest appearances on stage, bringing his TV series adventures to life right before your eyes alongside the Ultra Heroes and other characters. New original live stage cheering items, including the “Color Timer Light,” will also be available. Don’t miss your chance to cheer on the Ultra Heroes in their heated battles!

What is the Live Stage Cheering Item “Color Timer Light”?

The “Color Timer Light” changes color in sync with the Ultra Heroes on stage. This year, new versions will be released, joining the Ultraman ver. and Ultraman Zero ver.

Osaka Venue Highlights

The “Umeda Summer Festival,” now in its second year, will have an extended run and more performances compared to last year, allowing more fans to enjoy the event. The performances will also include guest appearances by the main cast of Ultraman Omega. Furthermore, the popular interactive greeting event “Meet the Hero,” a hit at the Tokyo venue, will also be held in Osaka.

In addition, collaborative projects with Hankyu Umeda Main Store, where the merchandise floor will be located, are also planned.
