We are announcing this week’s latest updates for the new series Ultraman Arc, which will be aired on TV Tokyo Network and broadcasted and/or streamed worldwide at 9:00 a.m. JST on July 6, 2024 (Sat).
This week’s release features a new member of the main characters – YouPi, fellow SKIP (Scientific Kaiju Investigation and Prevention center) member of Yuma Hize.

YouPi, the AI Robot

With the official name of “YouPi the Robot”, it is an autonomous AI-equipped support robot. It likes to say “YouPi’s on the job!” It is equipped with cameras on both eyes and the chest, a megaphone in the center of the chest, lights on the shoulders as well as arms with super strength and multi-nozzles with all kinds of functions… In all, tons of equipment. Also, its head and body can separate in order to support its fellows at SKIP. The You-bot—the head part—serves as a drone and deals quickly with situations regardless of land, sea or air, and the Pi-body—the body part—performs all kinds of tasks on the ground.

Character Voice: Yuya Hirose

YouPi will be voiced by popular voice actor Yuya Hirose.
Born on April 9th. Associated with Artsvision.

Having aspired to become a voice actor at middle school, he attended training school as a high school student. After hard work, he was able to join an agency upon graduating high school and made his debut in an anime in 2013. Since then, he has been active in anime, games as well as dubbing, seizing the position of the main character in 2018’s SSSS.GRIDMAN. Having the certificate for a daycare teacher himself, he uses his gentle character voice to speak to the kids from inside the screen as YouPi.

I’ve been waiting for so long and I can finally speak out about it! Another dream has come true!
Every episode has been so fun to record, as I do my best to show the cuteness and coolness, and all the attractive points of YouPi!
