A brand new theatrical film set in the GRIDMAN UNIVERSE is announced in the TSUBURAYA CONVENTION 2021 SPECIAL PROGRAM, held on December 13!

Based on the 1993 TV series Gridman the Hyper Agent, the TV anime series SSSS.GRIDMAN aired in 2018. And now, following the 2021 series SSSS.DYNAZENON, a new feature-length film will be produced for theatres.

Additionally, Akira Amemiya, director of SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENON will continue to lead this project as well. The production will bring back all of the heavy hitters from the SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENON series, with screenplay by Keiichi Hasegawa, character design by Masaru Sakamoto, and music by Shiro Sagisu.

While the title and plot details have yet to be revealed, there was a tantalizing sneak peak at a visual from the production showing Gridman and Dynarex together. There is plenty of speculation on the story and expectations for the film are running sky high. Stay tuned for further updates!
