ULTRAMAN LIVE, the 2-week Ultraman event held across New York and New Jersey from November 15 to November 23, 2025, has ended in massive success. The first-ever authentic Ultraman live stage show in the U.S. marks a milestone moment for the history of the Ultraman franchise as it expands its presence in  North America.

The centerpiece event took place at American Dream, New Jersey, on the weekends of November 15-16 and 22-23, featuring spectacular live stage shows and Meet and Greet sessions in collaboration with Bandai Namco. A special Ultra Hero parade and kaiju Meet & Greet event on November 20th added extra experience for audiences. 

The Ultraman celebration was also extended to Japan Society, New York City, with a special screening and live stage event on November 18th. On November 21, Ultra Heroes and kaiju toured several NYC locations, including the Kyuramen store in Chinatown, offering audiences unique photo opportunities and interactive experiences.

The highlight of Ultraman Live was the North American debut of Ultraman Omega, the hero of the latest TV series Ultraman Omega, on the live stage show. Omega joins forces with his legendary predecessors — Ultraman and Ultraman Zero — on a mission to maintain peace against the evil Ultraman Belial and his kaiju army. Meet & Greet events were held throughout the weekends, featuring the Ultra Heroes, including Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Zero, and Ultraman Omega, as well as classic kaiju and aliens beloved across generations.

The event also celebrated the first 12 episodes’ premiere in English dubbing on American streaming platforms on November 28th. 

Across the 2-week window, live stage shows and Meet & Greet events have attracted more than 11,000  audiences from fans across the U.S., from longtime Ultraman fans to first-time visitors and local families, proving strong cross-generational and global appeal — and signaling a bold new chapter for the franchise in North America, as the series approaches its 60th anniversary.

• American Dream, New Jersey (Nov 15–16, 20, 22–23)

Live stage shows and Meet & Greet events were held throughout the weekends, as fans and visitors gathered to witness the unprecedented Ultraman action, meet many Ultra Heroes and kaiju, access exclusive Ultraman merchandise, including the Omega Slugger, as well as experience the Ultraman Card Game with demo sessions and tournament matches.

A special event was held on Thursday, Nov 20, including an Ultra Hero parade around American Dream, and a special Kaiju Stampede Meet & Greet, as local kaiju fans enjoyed a unique opportunity to meet multiple heroes and kaiju at the same time.

• Cultural Night at Japan Society (Nov 18)

Ultraman Live expanded to New York City as a special screening and live stage event was held at the Japan Society. The auditorium was filled with passionate fans for a premiere screening of Ultraman and Ultraman Omega in English dubbing, followed by the live stage show.

• NYC Meet & Greets at Iconic Locations in New York City (Nov 21)

Ultra Heroes and kaiju toured around New York City with Meet & Greet events in various locations.

Ultraman and Alien Baltan, Ultraman Omega and Ultraman Belial paired in Meet & Greet sessions at the Tamashii Nations Store at Times Square, marking the third straight year of Ultraman landing in the iconic location.

In the afternoon, Ultraman Omega arrived at Akiba House in Chinatown for a Meet & Greet session, warmly welcomed by local fans of Japanese culture.

In the evening, a special Meet& Greet with Ultraman and Alien Baltan was held at Kyuramen store in Chinatown, as part of the Ultraman & Kyuramen collaboration that lasted throughout November.
